Which Cash 3 & Pick 3 States are the best to play in?
Did you know some States may be better to play in compared to others? Did you know some States share the prize money dependant upon how many players have the winning ticket! I don’t play in those States, I like the $500 (even $900) guarantee! So, in case you are wondering…
1. I personally don’t like States that share the prize money dependant upon how many win the game.
2. I personally don’t like States using ‘electronic’ methods (Computers) to generate winning numbers.
3. My personal favorites for playing? Florida and Georgia
The reason I dislike playing in States that don’t use a ping-pong type ball system? Well, I guess it is my lack of faith in a computer to generate a true random number. The software is only as good as the person who programmed the script or software isn’t it. With all software, there are errors and flaws – you are probably using software that makes to mad at times, yet you bought it and use it. Since I don’t get to ’see’ the script or software that is selecting the winning number I have no idea if it is biased or flawed and we just have to accept the result, win or lose. Ball machines are different, usually the draws are televised and we get the excitement of seeing it being revealed live.
Many people don’t realize that it isn’t just one set of balls or just one ball machine. I remember talking with someone in Florida who told me they had six different sets of balls and four different machines. Ball sets and ball machines were continually being changed around. In addition I learned that there were ‘2 or 3′ pre-draws before the televised event in which the winning number was produced for us all to see. So, if you have ever wondered “why” a certain number you felt strongly about wasn’t drawn, maybe it was, in a pre-test or maybe they changed either the ball set or the ball machine itself. I think this is why many systems tend to go hot and cold, the balls were changed or the machine was changed so the patterns and events from the past just aren’t working on the new system.
Equally, with the States using computers for their draws, I am sure there are several of them… there has to be. Now if one is newer or faster, one has more memory and one uses an AMD chip and the other uses the “Intel” chip, they may yield entirely different ‘random numbers’ So if you have ever wondered “where the heck did that come from!” maybe they switched to using a different computer.
The lotto places like to win and they like to keep changing things to make the game more ‘random’ In case you are wondering why States are switching to using computers rather than ball machines? They claim they save as much as $100,000 per year doing so. Okay, I can see that… but with the average State pulling in over one billion a year in sales, $100k doesn’t sound like much does it?
It makes me think and maybe it makes you think too?
